What is AI Registry?
AI Registry is a public directory of Australian AI companies, built so buyers, founders, and procurement teams can find vendors who actually operate in Australia rather than relying on global lists where AU presence is incidental. Every published listing is checked against ABN records, ownership, and data-sovereignty signals before it goes live, so the badge means something.

How are listings verified?
Each company is checked against an active ABN, beneficial ownership where available, and a real Australian operating presence. Where a company declares onshore hosting, we record the provider and region. Listings get a “Verified” badge only after the editor has matched the company’s public claims to records they did not control.
Is AI Registry free to use?
Yes. Browsing the directory and filtering is free for buyers. Listings are also free to submit. Paid tiers may exist later for company-controlled enhancements, but the underlying directory and verification standard will stay open.
How do I claim my company’s listing?
Each company page has a “Claim this listing” link in the sidebar. Once verified by the editor, you’ll be able to update tagline, description, capabilities, and the data-sovereignty fields directly rather than waiting on the editor’s research.
How do I submit a new company?
Use the Submit page in the navigation. Listings need an Australian-operating business with at least one AI capability you can describe in plain language. We don’t publish stealth-mode pre-product entries.
