PentenAmio is the merged identity of Penten (Canberra) and UK security firm Amio, with combined operations across the UK, Australia, and allied nations. The Canberra-headquartered Australian arm originally built secure mobility and AI cyber defence systems for the Australian Defence Force and government departments handling classified information. The AI work spans two areas. AI cyber deception deploys decoy networks designed to look real to adversaries while exposing their tactics. AI training systems generate hyper-realistic threat scenarios for human cyber operators to defend against. 300-strong workforce across UK and Australia. Customer base is government and defence specifically, not commercial. Following the Penten and Amio merger, the operating entity is no longer purely Australian-owned.
