Terms of use

Last updated: 27 April 2026

By using AI Registry, you agree to these terms. They describe what the site is, what it isn't, and the boundaries of how we work with the people and companies who use it.

1. What this site is

AI Registry is a curated directory of AI companies operating in Australia. Listings are added by the editor or submitted by companies and reviewed before publishing.

2. Information accuracy

We make a reasonable effort to verify listing information against public records. However:

  • Listing information is provided as-is, sourced from companies and public records.
  • The Verified and Data Sovereign badges reflect a desk-check by the editor at a point in time, not a continuous audit.
  • Information can become outdated between reviews.

Use AI Registry as a starting point, not a substitute for your own due diligence in a procurement decision.

3. Not advice

Nothing on AI Registry is legal, financial, procurement, or compliance advice. Decisions about engaging vendors, including those listed here, are your own.

4. Submitting listings

If you submit a company:

  • You confirm you are authorised to do so on its behalf.
  • You confirm the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • You grant AI Registry a non-exclusive licence to publish that information on the site.
  • You can request updates or removal at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or copy-pasted information.
  • Submit on behalf of a company you do not represent.
  • Scrape the site for automated republishing.
  • Attempt to interfere with site operation or security.
  • Use the site to harass, defame, or threaten any person or company.

We may remove listings or block users for breach of these terms.

6. Intellectual property

The AI Registry name, design, and editorial content are owned by the operator. Company logos and descriptions are owned by the listed companies and used with permission (implicit on submission, claimable for removal).

7. Featured listings

Some listings may be marked Featured. Featured placement is a commercial arrangement between the operator and the listed company. Featured status does not change the verification process.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, AI Registry, its operator, and contributors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on information published here.

Nothing in these terms excludes consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify AI Registry against any claims arising from your submission of false or unauthorised information.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 14 days.

This is a draft. Before launch, it should be reviewed by an Australian commercial lawyer to confirm it covers the actual operation of the live site.
